Software/Firmware Engineering Intern (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Customize Linux to run on embedded systems.
• Implement firmware for complex hardware designs.
• Bring up, characterize, and verify hardware.
• Support communications products using signal processing, forward error correction, Ethernet, and OTN technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience implementing firmware for FPGA and microcontroller devices.
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems, including Linux and real-time systems.
• Ability to interpret hardware designs.
• Applicants must be eligible to access technology and software subject to U.S. export control laws; an export license review may be required.
