What you will do

• Develop and characterize advanced microelectronic packages for high-speed interfaces.
• Perform electrical design, modeling, and analysis for all signal and power integrity aspects.
• Interface with package suppliers to select technology, drive layout, and ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with marketing and IC designers to define achievable package specifications.
• Automate SI, PI, and packaging activities using Python scripting.
• Manage package development projects involving cross-functional teams including assembly, layout, and design.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering or related with 5-10 years of experience, or Master’s/PhD with 3-5 years of experience.
• Strong fundamentals in EM, transmission lines, and microwave theory.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D EM simulation tools like Ansys HFSS, SI-Wave, or Cadence Clarity.
• Experience with high-speed electronic packaging for digital and analog ICs.
• Working knowledge of circuit design tools such as Spectre, ADS, or HSpice.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2.5D/3D package development.
• Familiarity with CPC/CPO connectors.
• Experience with channel simulations using MATLAB.
• Knowledge of thermal and mechanical analysis for IC packages.
