Chief Engineer, Test (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead Test Engineering activities and guide Test Engineers toward section goals, deliverables, and KPIs.
• Qualify electrical test setups, transfers, programs, and methods to support production ramps and capability improvements.
• Optimize test jobs and setups to improve yield, reduce overkills, maintain capacity, and meet entitlement targets.
• Implement new testing solutions, quality firewalls, and systemic improvements for test-related production issues.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-site test improvement initiatives, including qualification of enhanced capabilities.
• Support customer complaint investigations using 8D methodology and train test technicians and engineers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in problem-solving, process optimization, and quality tools including 8D, SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
• Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab, Statistics, Exensio, and SpotFire.
• Deep electronics fundamentals, including Power MOS, Bipolar Discretes, SiC, GaN, and IGBT.
• Project management skills and the ability to lead effective meetings.
• Strong communication and reporting skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
