Supplier Quality Engineer (Valves)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; based in Thailand and willing to travel

What you will do

• Manage supplier quality activities for suppliers across the Southeast Asia region.
• Drive supplier quality improvement plans and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Lead supplier transition activities and support successful production and quality transfers.
• Conduct supplier audits, including evaluations of sub-suppliers, and promote process standardization.
• Maintain supplier surveillance data, quality databases, supplier metrics, and scorecards.
• Develop supplier quality metrics for periodic senior management reviews and support supplier risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering.
• At least 10 years of quality and engineering experience, including a minimum of 5 years as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Experience with supplier audits, new project development or management, quality tools, and analytical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ESG, APQP, PPAP, and 8D.
• Experience with metal-component processes such as forging, casting, and machining; valve manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English are required; the local language is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in a foreign company, export operations, valve manufacturing, or the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of UL, NSF, and Water Quality Association requirements.
