Hardware Security Architect (SoC Security)

What you will do

• Define SoC hardware security architectures and requirements, including HSM specifications, secure boot and root-of-trust concepts, and cryptographic IP integration.
• Translate security features into high-level hardware/software specifications and derive implementation requirements.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and architectural mitigation planning.
• Architect hardware/software security boundaries for secure boot, firmware services, drivers, and runtime protection.
• Define secure key storage and provisioning using eFUSE/OTP, as well as security-aware DFT and test strategies.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, firmware, software, systems, quality, and product teams through implementation, validation, audits, and customer reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in SoC or MCU design focused on hardware security architecture and HW/SW interaction.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, AMBA/AXI-class interconnects, memory subsystems, and hardware/software security policy enforcement.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, security validation, and vulnerability analysis for SoC-based systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of RTL design, synthesis concepts, and EDA flows sufficient to review and guide secure implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for specifications, reviews, and stakeholder alignment.
