Technical Director – System Architect (UHF / RFID Systems)

What you will do

• Define and refine product requirements with Product Management, Marketing, Technical Leads, and customers.
• Design robust and scalable UHF RFID system architectures aligned with customer use cases.
• Define and drive system integration and validation concepts and plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support product development teams through implementation and validation while maintaining product quality and technical excellence.
• Act as a technical interface for key customers from product definition through production ramp-up, addressing new requirements and complex system issues.
• Investigate competitor products, identify technology trends, contribute to RFID standardization activities, and provide technical leadership across global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in system architecture development for UHF RFID, wearables, or IoT devices.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication technologies and radio systems, plus basic knowledge of UHF measurement techniques.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles and engineering processes.
• Excellent communication, abstraction, and presentation skills; security-related tasks and security certification work require a conscious and reliable approach.
