What you will do

• Design digital logic circuits (FSMs, control logic, data path) for mixed-signal ICs based on system architecture and product requirements.
• Perform static design verification, including Lint checking, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), and Reset Domain Crossing (RDC) analysis.
• Conduct applied research and develop AI/ML tools to automate test generation, design space exploration, and bug triage.
• Build FPGA prototypes for digital logic emulation and collaborate with firmware teams for pre-silicon validation.
• Participate in post-silicon bring-up by analyzing lab measurements to identify root causes and recommend design fixes.
• Generate behavioral models of analog/mixed-signal components using SystemVerilog or Verilog-A.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in digital IC design and verification.
• Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence Xcelium for debugging and RTL code coverage analysis.
• Proven track record with FPGA prototyping, pre-silicon validation, and post-silicon debugging.
• Experience applying AI/ML tools in digital design automation.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Jose, CA.
