What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the global web platform.
• Own the end-to-end enterprise WordPress ecosystem, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Lead platform modernization efforts, including the adoption of headless and API-driven architectures.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, accessibility, and platform reliability.
• Oversee hosting strategy, infrastructure performance, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and develop a global engineering organization, partnering with marketing and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in web development, with 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Deep expertise in enterprise WordPress development and large-scale implementations.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern web architectures.
• Proven success leading distributed or global engineering teams.
• Experience managing high-traffic, enterprise-level web platforms.
• Expertise in performance optimization, technical SEO, and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or enterprise WordPress hosting.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Background in B2B or SaaS digital ecosystems.
