What you will do

• Conduct a wide variety of environmental and functional tests (electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic) for development and qualification.
• Establish performance test setups, including the use of necessary fixtures, tooling, and temperature gages.
• Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose common test failures and perform corrective rework to maintain unit integrity.
• Interface with cross-functional teams (Product, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Quality) to support production needs.
• Review build schedules with Program Management and develop time standards with engineering.
• Implement and promote lean concepts and activities within the production environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in assembly and test operations.
• Demonstrated experience with at least 2 technologies (e.g., DDV, linear actuation, pumps & motors, rotary actuation).
• Mandatory enrollment and participation in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime (5-11 hours per week).

Nice to have

• Certifications in soldering, crimping, or Alodine.
