TL;DR

Technical Deployment Lead (AI): Defining and executing the delivery of complex AI systems to customers with an accent on translating business outcomes into technical roadmaps. Focus on driving 0→1 prototypes through MVP and scale while bridging the gap between customer needs and core platform development.

Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia. Hybrid model (3 days in office). Relocation assistance provided. Travel up to 25-50% is required.

What you will do

• Own the technical delivery plan and roadmap for multiple interdependent work streams.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution across FDEs, Researchers, and Customer Engineers.
• Embed with customer teams to map workflows, drive adoption, and lead change management.
• Partner with Product and Research teams to align platform components with deployment goals.
• Codify reusable solution patterns and field signals to improve AI models and products.
• Define and track ROI, KPIs, and impact hypotheses for deployments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership.
• Proven track record of leading complex, high-stakes engagements, ideally involving AI.
• Experience shipping AI/LLM systems and understanding production pitfalls.
• Ability to move fluidly between high-level system architecture and execution-level detail.
• Expertise in at least one major sector (e.g., healthcare, energy, financial services).
• Based in Sydney or eligible for relocation.
