Senior IP Development Engineer

Salary: $141,910–$269,100 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy sophisticated multi-language software solutions using Perl, TCL, Python, Bash, SWIG, C, and C++.
• Architect and maintain complex software products that integrate across diverse programming environments.
• Provide technical support to a 150+ member internal engineering team, leading regression analysis, debugging, and resolution of critical software issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
• Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines and introduce modern software quality assurance methodologies.
• Pioneer integration of AI technologies (e.g., GitHub Copilot) into the development workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM field with 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) views and tools.
• 1+ years of experience with IP layout principles and netlist construction methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience in C++ programming with project experience.
• Hands-on experience with Boost libraries implementation, plus experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• Work model requires hybrid participation at the assigned hirify.global site in the US (Texas/Austin; additional sites in Arizona/Phoenix and Oregon/Hillsboro).

Nice to have

• Post-graduate degree in a relevant STEM field.
• Cross-platform build system experience and implementation.
• Experience with software security principles, validation techniques, and complex mixed-language debugging/optimization.
• Experience with SWIG, GCC toolchain build procedures, and C++ memory management.
• Network programming experience (sockets, TCP/IP).
