What you will do

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices for the Next-Gen SIEM platform, focusing on detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Advanced Detection Research teams to implement scalable systems for behavioral analytics.
• Own technical decisions and architectural choices for systems processing trillions of events daily.
• Integrate and utilize Go, Kafka, Redis, OpenSearch, and PostgreSQL to build robust solutions.
• Optimize system stability, performance, and reliability using monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in the technical interview and selection process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in software development focusing on cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go (preferred), Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data processing systems.
• Understanding of security concepts, threat detection methodologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience working in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
• Familiarity with SIEM or log management solutions.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, OpenSearch, and Redis.
• Expertise in microservices architecture.
