TL;DR

Principal Product Designer (AI/UX): Leading the evolution of the Content Discovery experience for Peacock with an accent on AI search and personalized interfaces. Focus on translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear frameworks and designing seamless experiences across mobile and TV platforms.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York, NY (minimum 4 days per week in office)

Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 yearly

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for complex content discovery initiatives, including AI Search and mobile discovery evolution.
• Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear frameworks, hypotheses, and design directions.
• Deliver production-ready UX designs for both domestic and international audiences.
• Partner with PM, Engineering, Data, and Research teams to define requirements, scope, and success criteria.
• Provide creative direction and mentorship to other designers, defining patterns and practices for the team.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders and leadership on research insights and design decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in product design.
• Proven experience as a design leader with the ability to direct others through the creative process.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, and Jira.
• Deep knowledge of cross-platform usability standards for platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, and Apple TV.
• Experience designing for accessibility and international audiences.
• Strong portfolio of solid web, mobile, and multimedia work.
