Wafer Test Process Engineer (Semiconductor/ATE): Developing and optimizing wafer test processes to ensure high-quality, stable, and efficient semiconductor manufacturing with an accent on yield improvement, product qualification, and end-to-end process integration across equipment, IT systems, and manufacturing operations. Focus on driving LOH/LRR recovery, improving test quality systems, and executing documentation, audits, and customer return investigations.

What you will do

  • Plan, schedule, and execute wafer test process and product qualifications for new R&D and new package introduction projects.
  • Lead process integration, including IT systems, to ensure smooth end-to-end manufacturing flow.
  • Sustain wafer test yield above targets and manage quality release of Lots on Hold (LOH), including LOH analysis and yield recovery (LRR) improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process robustness, performance, and cost savings (including MVA projects and DFPC reduction).
  • Support customer audits and handle customer returns with 8D reporting, lot mapping, and CAPA execution; support investigations of customer complaints and internal quality incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation (SOP, OCAP, TCM, FMEA, SOJT, Control Plan) and provide technical support to operations and production teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with ATE (Automated Test Equipment).
  • Strong experience in wafer test processes and test process engineering (or similar role).
  • Programming skills in C/C++ are required.
  • Project management and statistical data analysis skills; ability to design and execute effective test procedures.
  • Fluent English.
