What you will do

• Define technical direction, standards, and governance for enterprise IT architecture.
• Create high-level and detailed design specifications for large-scale projects and enhancements.
• Triage incoming requests and provide high-level effort estimations for new initiatives.
• Architect solutions across cloud, server, and database infrastructure, including API design and SSO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in enterprise architecture and 5+ years in software development.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server) and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps/TFS, and SOA.
• Strong understanding of systems integration and application design.

Nice to have

• Experience with TOGAF framework.
• Background in public sector or workforce systems, such as unemployment insurance.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern design patterns.
