What you will do

• Disassemble, clean, rebuild, and inspect mechanical sub-assemblies for ion implanter systems (Axcelis and Varian).
• Identify mechanical wear and perform minor repairs on components.
• Utilize precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches.
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications to maintain quality.
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure strict adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Safely handle hazardous materials while following all PPE and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
• Prefer 3-6+ years of experience in a wafer fab environment.
• Previous experience as an MST or Equipment Technician in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools and precision measurement devices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and instructions.

• Associate’s degree in electronics.
