TL;DR

Real Estate Valuation Analyst (Finance/CRE): Supporting the valuation, advisory, and analytics team by preparing cash flow models and conducting appraisal reviews for diverse property types with an accent on financial modeling and market analysis. Focus on utilizing ARGUS Enterprise, performing sales comparisons, and ensuring compliance with USPAP and state regulations.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the New York office (Hybrid model).

Salary: $45,000 - $75,000

What you will do

• Prepare cash flow models using ARGUS Enterprise based on client-provided financial data.
• Conduct market analysis, including gathering data on market rents and comparable lease transactions.
• Perform appraisal reviews for third-party reports to ensure factual accuracy and market reasonableness.
• Manage client workflow processes, including scheduling calls and drafting engagement letters.
• Complete replacement cost estimates using industry-standard data sources.
• Participate in core competency training and work toward becoming ARGUS Certified.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, including x-lookups, pivot tables, and DCF modeling.
• Strong analytical, research, and business writing skills.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the New York area for hybrid office attendance.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise.
• Previous internship experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
