What you will do

• Own the “manufacturing POV” for product discovery and prioritization for discrete manufacturing environments.
• Map day-in-the-life workflows for planners, supply chain leaders, and operations stakeholders; translate them into product problems, measurable outcomes, and roadmap candidates.
• Run structured feedback loops with customers and partners and convert insights into prioritized product requirements.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to shape value propositions and act as a subject matter expert in strategic customer conversations.
• Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, prototype workflows, create user journeys, and produce PRDs and acceptance criteria with design/engineering.
• Drive cross-functional execution for market-facing value, including enablement and RFP/RFI inputs and customer-facing engagements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience either in industrial/discrete manufacturing roles tied to manufacturing planning/operations, or building enterprise SaaS products for inventory optimization, production planning, APS, MRP, S&OP/IBP, or adjacent planning/optimization domains.
• Proven ability to translate complex real-world workflows into clear product direction: problem statements, requirements, prioritization logic, and success metrics.
• Customer-facing confidence to lead discovery sessions, challenge assumptions professionally, and communicate value to practitioners and executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication across executive narratives and detailed workflows.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate product work while maintaining rigor and validation discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with supply chain planning and APS ecosystems, including integration with ERP/MES and surrounding systems.
• Background implementing, supporting, or product-managing planning solutions across manufacturing contexts (production planning/scheduling, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP).
• Comfort collaborating with Design on prototypes and with Engineering/Data Science on feasibility tradeoffs and instrumentation.
