Director, Strategy & Execution - ETF & Index Investments (ETF)

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Translate global ETF strategy into executable operating plans across regions and functions.
• Lead the global ETF operating organization, establishing accountability, resource planning, and execution cadence.
• Enable product launches, conversions, index transitions, market expansion, and primary-market readiness.
• Coordinate partnerships with index providers, exchanges, custodians, vendors, and other service providers.
• Deliver ETF platform capabilities across trading, portfolio management, capital markets, data, onboarding, and launch readiness.
• Own governance, execution risk and controls, operational improvement, and incident-response playbooks.

Requirements

• College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in technical and leadership roles.
• Senior leadership experience in ETFs, asset management, or complex regulated financial services.
• Experience leading global strategy execution across commercial and operational growth, including multi-region environments.
• Strong understanding of ETF operating lifecycles, technology-enabled operating models, risk management, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience aligning complex, matrixed organizations and working with senior leadership, boards, and regulators.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CFA/CIMA qualification.
• Direct experience with ETF platforms, capital markets, or quantitative/index-based investing.
• Leadership of large-scale technology, data, or infrastructure programs.
• Familiarity with global ETF regulatory and market structures.
