Pathogen Assays Specialist (AI Trainer)

What you will do

• Challenge advanced language models with real-world laboratory scenarios and theoretical assay design questions.
• Evaluate model responses on pathogen detection assays, molecular diagnostics, immunoassays, culture-based methods, and clinical microbiology.
• Verify factual accuracy and workflow logic across PCR, qPCR, ELISA, lateral flow, antigen, and antibody testing.
• Document reproducible failure modes and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Analyze assay validation topics including sensitivity, specificity, multiplexing, controls, standards, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Expertise in pathogen detection assays, molecular diagnostics, immunoassays, biosafety protocols, assay validation, and clinical microbiology.
• Hands-on experience with pathogen assay development or diagnostics.
• Clear, metacognitive communication and the ability to explain reasoning in detail.
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, or ISO standards.
• PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, or a closely related life-science field is ideal.
• Peer-reviewed publications are valued.
