What you will do

• Assess legacy codebases and monolithic architectures to define modernization strategies such as re-platforming, re-factoring, or re-architecting.
• Design cloud-native target architectures leveraging microservices, event-driven patterns, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Design and build custom AI agents and multi-agent workflows using frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to inventory systems and produce modernization roadmaps with TCO/ROI analysis.
• Build and deliver MVPs and live demonstrations of AI-assisted code transformation and intelligent workflow automation.
• Lead joint development sessions ("AI pairing") with client engineering teams to accelerate capability transfer.

Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
• 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and building agentic AI or LLM-powered systems in production environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in modernizing legacy architectures (mainframes, monoliths) to cloud-native platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python; experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted code transformation tools like GitHub Copilot or Amazon Q Developer.
• Background with legacy languages or platforms: COBOL, PL/SQL, VB6, .NET Framework, WebSphere, or IBM MQ.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF.
