What you will do

• Create and maintain high-quality lighting setups for CG assets, environments, and effects.
• Produce photorealistic renders that integrate seamlessly with live-action photography.
• Collaborate with CG/VFX Supervisors and Compositors to achieve artistic and technical goals.
• Optimize scenes and renders while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshoot lighting, rendering, and integration issues throughout production.
• Support and mentor junior and intermediate artists.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of Quebec and legally authorized to work in Canada (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• 5+ years of experience in lighting and rendering for VFX, episodic, or feature film productions.
• Advanced mastery of Maya and modern rendering engines such as Arnold or Redshift.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, composition, color theory, and photorealistic rendering.
• Experience with look development, shaders, materials, and AOVs.
• Ability to interpret creative direction and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
