Associate Capital Analyst

Associate Capital Analyst (Finance): Leading and supporting capital modeling and management activities for insurance entities with an accent on data-informed decision-making and process improvement. Focus on driving talent and tool development to support capital allocation decisions across the company.

Location: Must be based in Richmond, VA. US Work Authorization required.

What you will do

• Lead and support capital modeling and management activities for regulated insurance entities.
• Drive improvements in talent, processes, and tools for capital allocation decisions.
• Prepare quarterly Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) outputs.
• Analyze performance versus budget and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop data manipulation skills using BI and visualization tools to create digestible stories for management.
• Partner with FP&A and other finance teams to reconcile business plans and manage rating agency requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a numeric discipline (finance, accounting, actuarial).
• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship).
• Analytical curiosity with a business-oriented mindset.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work across departments and geographies.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and SQL is desired.
