Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform scenario-based analysis of security events and anomalies.
• Detect and respond to security incidents across infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system security.
• Maintain and develop security products and services.
• Work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.

Requirements

• English: B2 level minimum required for daily communication.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Madrid, Spain.
• Basic knowledge of network maintenance, operating systems (Linux/Windows), or databases.
• Understanding of IT Security frameworks like OWASP TOP 10 and MITRE.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Elastic search, and Public Cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Previous work experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center).
• Technical or Security certifications.
• Programming or data management skills.
• Higher education in an IT-related field.
