Cyber Security Lead

Focus on defining operational roadmaps, securing AWS environments, and integrating security controls into the SDLC.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of AppSec, Infra Sec, and Endpoint Security engineers.
• Own end-to-end security operations including detection, monitoring, incident response, and remediation.
• Define and execute operational roadmaps for cloud, application, and endpoint security.
• Drive adoption of security tooling such as EDR, SIEM, DAST/SAST, and WAF.
• Oversee cloud security posture across AWS environments.
• Support technical security requirements for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years in technical security roles across AppSec, Infra Sec, or Endpoint Security.
• 3+ years in a lead or management role with direct reports.
• Strong AWS cloud security knowledge including IAM, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
• Hands-on experience with security tooling like EDR, SIEM, and CI/CD security integration.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Ability to translate security risks into business terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Background in identity and access management using Okta.
• Experience in detection engineering and digital forensics.
