Security Operations Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Monitor security event logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and DLP sources.
• Triage security events, evaluate severity, and escalate critical issues to senior team members.
• Conduct initial incident analysis and document findings to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Proactively refine SOC processes and playbooks by incorporating lessons from past incidents.
• Analyze CVEs and perform security assessments as part of vulnerability management.
• Support internal phishing campaigns and the Security Champions program.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a security operations analyst.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and cloud perimeter security (AWS and GCP).
• Proficiency in digital forensics, including email header and log analysis.
• Familiarity with financial industry security standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Málaga office.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working within the financial sector.
• Relevant security certifications such as GCIH or GCIA.
