Mainframe z/OS Specialist

TL;DR

Mainframe z/OS Specialist: Developing and maintaining solutions in complex mainframe environments with an accent on system performance, stability, and process automation. Location: Remote (Europe). Must be available for sporadic travel to Europe at the beginning of the project.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain JCL scripts and Icetool utilities.
• Utilize IFPF and REXX for process automation and optimization.
• Manage and monitor workloads using TWS and SDSF.
• Perform COBOL programming for application development and maintenance.
• Work with DB2 databases, including queries and optimization.
• Implement system integrations using webMethods EntireX and NaturalOne.

Requirements

• English: C1+ required
• Proven experience in Mainframe z/OS system development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in JCL, Icetool, IFPF, and REXX.
• Strong expertise in COBOL programming and DB2 databases.
• Experience in Software AG environments including Natural, Adabas, and Natural-DB2.
• Must be available for sporadic travel to Europe at the beginning of the project.
