What you will do

• Demonstrate proficiency in reconciliation processes and navigate complex operational tasks.
• Mentor and provide training to junior team members to enhance overall performance.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Resolve routine and moderately complex reconciliation issues to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Liaise with internal departments such as accounting, trading, and risk management.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in financial reconciliations, financial analysis, or related roles in the banking industry.
• College graduate from a respected Tertiary Institution or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and familiarity with reconciliation tools like Duco or Intellimatch.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MX or MT).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
