What you will do

• Serve as the Single Threaded Leader for New Glenn Generation 1 G&C software and simulation.
• Lead vehicle autonomy teams in developing codes, models, and tools to support launch schedules.
• Oversee software component integration, unit testing, and real-time autonomy application releases.
• Manage G&C launch and test operations support for operational vehicles.
• Lead cross-functional teams to mature technologies and integrate innovations like AI into development programs.
• Provide technical oversight and authority for a range of software solutions and design reviews.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• 10+ years of experience in autonomy development for complex processes or aerospace GNC.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing lean teams on fast-paced projects.
• Proven track record in software development from initial architecture to deployed systems.
• Strong ability to perform both theoretical modeling/simulation and applied testing/validation.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in a technical environment.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering field.
• Direct experience with launch vehicle guidance and control algorithms.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and analysis.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding techniques and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Familiarity with DOORS, JIRA, and Git.
