TL;DR
Data & AI Governance Consultant: Implementing and operationalizing data and AI governance strategies for corporate clients with an accent on data quality frameworks, stewardship models, and policy design. Location: Must be based in Belgium (Brussels/Flanders area).

What you will do
- Design and implement data governance processes, including quality frameworks and stewardship models.
- Develop AI governance frameworks to ensure responsible, transparent, and safe AI usage.
- Define clear rules, standards, and policies to enhance data quality and completeness.
- Guide clients in creating conceptual frameworks and information models for reliable data use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate governance strategies into measurable business objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends and best practices to share knowledge within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data management or data governance.
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a must.
- Strong knowledge of SQL-logic.
- Familiarity with data management fundamentals like DAMA DMBOK.
- Experience with at least one data/AI management tool (e.g., Collibra, Precisely, Informatica, Talend, MS Purview, IBM IGC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience in AI governance.
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
