What you will do
- Supervise 1st shift foundry operations and lead a team of about 30 hourly employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery standards, and budget/cost control measures.
- Run daily Gemba walks and KPI board reviews to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Review production and operating reports to address and resolve operational and maintenance issues.
- Improve resource utilization by organizing and directing workflow to meet production plans.
- Apply Lean manufacturing and root-cause problem-solving, using VOC feedback to improve processes; collaborate with Engineering and Quality on major issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience (or equivalent education/work experience); bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operating systems.
- Advanced decision-making experience and supervisory/leadership skills with effective communication.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and company attendance standards; understanding and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
