TL;DR
Data Consultant (Healthcare/Actuarial): Supporting actuarial processes by managing, modifying, and developing complex data reports with an accent on SQL, Python, and SAS. Location: Must be based in the USA. While the role is remote, an onsite interview in Chattanooga, TN may be required.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain databases of past claims to support actuarial premium rate determination.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify business and industry trends.
- Create and modify routine and ad-hoc reports to enhance organizational insights.
- Summarize findings for logical presentation to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the actuarial team to conceptualize new reporting solutions.
- Ensure all data requests are fulfilled accurately and within established deadlines.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the USA (no sponsorship available).
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or research discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in reporting or data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Capacity to manage multiple assignments under critical deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience working with healthcare industry data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
