TL;DR

Lead ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow/Federal): Designing, developing, and deploying complex ServiceNow solutions for federal government projects with an accent on ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD modules. Focus on leading development teams, architecting scalable workflows, and ensuring platform security and compliance within an Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in the United States (EST hours)

What you will do

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow applications aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop and customize modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Service Portal.
  • Create complex workflows, business rules, and automation scripts using JavaScript and Flow Designer.
  • Lead integration efforts with external systems using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to a team of ServiceNow developers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
  • Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher required.
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Strong expertise in App Engine, Service Portal development, and custom application development.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design.
  • Experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing complex integrations using Integration Hub.
