What you will do
- Troubleshoot Layer 1 (physical) and Layer 2 circuit issues.
- Manage tickets and coordinate with CLECs and ILECs to resolve transport and network issues.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software related problems.
- Handle customer trouble tickets through phone, email, and chat.
- Provide detailed and timely updates in the ticketing system.
- Monitor network performance and manage SD-WAN technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Managed Services or Telecom Support.
- Experience researching and resolving telecom technical issues including voice, internet, SD-WAN, and data.
- Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routers.
- Experience with CLECs (e.g., Verizon, AT&T) and Broadband, Fiber, or Wireless repair.
- Familiarity with SIP, RTP, network topology, and loopback testing.
- Ability to work in a 24/7/365 shifting operation environment.
