What you will do

• Design, install, and modify IMS databases, PSBs, and ACBs.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and capacity planning.
• Perform level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting for system and application-level issues.
• Execute processes for software upgrades and maintenance of IMS database systems.
• Implement security strategies for IMS using RACF.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

Requirements

• Must be based in Moline, IL
• 8-15+ years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on Mainframe Technologies and IMS DBA.
• Engineering degree from a recognized university.
• Proficiency with DeltaIMS, FileAid for IMS, and IBM/BMC utilities.
• Strong knowledge of IMS DC transactions, DBRC management, and IMSplex environments.
• Experience with Assembler and REXX.
