What you will do

• Lead and coach a high-performing team of fraud and risk data analysts.
• Develop and execute strategic fraud risk policies across the entire account lifecycle.
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, and legal teams to build scalable security solutions.
• Drive initiatives to improve detection, prevention, and response capabilities against emerging threats.
• Deliver data-backed briefings to senior and executive leadership.
• Identify and implement automated solutions to address broader fraud and product abuse issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience leading policy or analytics teams in security, risk, or financial fraud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, security, or a related technical field.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in manipulating data from various sources (e.g., Databricks, Athena).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with data scientists on predictive models and AI-based solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Must be based in Mountain View or Oakland, California.

Nice to have

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in Cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management.
• Knowledge of the US tax system and identity theft fraud schemes.
• Data analysis experience in Python.
