Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 USD (based on location zone)

What you will do

• Proactively hunt and map criminal ecosystems targeting the brand and customers to disrupt threats at scale.
• Build and operationalize a comprehensive threat intelligence lifecycle to track adversaries across phishing, scams, and infrastructure abuse.
• Investigate attacker infrastructure and convert findings into concrete detections, controls, and customer protections.
• Coordinate infrastructure takedowns with partners to disrupt adversary operations.
• Design and automate intelligence workflows using OSINT, enrichment pipelines, and case management systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Detection & Response, Fraud, and Security Engineering to prioritize business risk.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of total experience, with 3–5+ years at a senior or staff level in threat intelligence or cyber investigations.
• Deep expertise in tracking criminal ecosystems related to phishing, scams, and infrastructure abuse.
• Strong familiarity with domain registration patterns, DNS, certificate transparency, and cloud/hosting abuse.
• Proficiency with OSINT tooling, SQL, Python, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Ability to translate complex technical threats into clear business risk for executive audiences.
• Must be able to work from the Menlo Park, CA office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto investigations or on-chain analysis.
