TL;DR

Focus on developing robust solutions using UWB, WiFi, and environmental sensors, validated through real-world data collection in vehicle cabin environments.

Location: Must be based on-site in Eindhoven, The Netherlands

What you will do

• Research and benchmark current in-cabin sensing technologies and use cases.
• Design and implement signal processing algorithms to extract features from sensor data.
• Collect and analyze real-world data within a vehicle cabin environment.
• Validate models to demonstrate feasibility and performance for automotive scenarios.
• Provide recommendations for future development and integration into product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BSc in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with board assembly and electronic design.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Must be available to work on-site in Eindhoven for the duration of the internship.
• Proficiency in English is required for documentation and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Electronics.
• Participation in university student engineering teams.
