What you will do

• Design and execute rigorous experiments to evaluate emerging privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs).
• Develop proof-of-concepts and scalable solutions tailored for government agency adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software engineers, and product managers.
• Analyze model behavior, diagnose training issues, and optimize performance and reliability.
• Provide technical consultation and support to agencies throughout their privacy technology adoption journey.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and publications within the broader government and international partner ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in data science or machine learning.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize academic research and translate it into practical, deployable solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Must be based in Singapore or able to work from the Singapore office.

Nice to have

• Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies such as anonymization, synthetic data, or differential privacy.
• Familiarity with frontend integration workflows using React or Next.js.
• Prior experience working in multi-disciplinary, Agile teams.
