What you will do

• Design, code, experiment, and implement models and algorithms to maximize customer experience and business outcomes.
• Mine large datasets of hundreds of millions of customers and daily events to discover actionable insights.
• Collaborate with developers and business owners to deliver high-quality daily results.
• Research and harness new ideas to drive innovation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore or able to work there.
• 4+ years of hands-on data science experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML/DL, statistics, and proficiency in Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL.
• Ability to lead and work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication skills for a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or related fields.
• Experience in NLP, image processing, and recommendation systems.
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop.
• Experience in data science for e-commerce or online travel agencies.
