What you will do

• Design and deploy reinforcement learning agents to support in-house AI services.
• Research, prototype, and evaluate RL agents using various policies and learning methodologies.
• Develop reward functions, learning strategies, and training environments aligned with gameplay objectives.
• Optimize agent performance through hyperparameter tuning, reward shaping, and model architecture refinement.
• Generalize RL agent solutions to scale across multiple game engines and genres.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RL gameplay agents seamlessly into games.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of applied experience in reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, MLX, or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of policy-based, value-based, and actor-critic methods.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or Rust.
• Familiarity with multi-agent RL, self-play, or adversarial training.
• Experience with simulation environments like OpenAI Gym, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, gRPC, or REST APIs.
