What you will do

• Inspect, operate, and maintain bottom ash and ferrous system equipment to keep it clear of debris.
• Conduct regular equipment rounds and perform minor maintenance tasks like belt replacements and lubrication.
• Manage liquid waste tanker offloading and coordinate system flow corrections.
• Maintain clean conditions in the ALO building, ash alley, and control rooms.
• Perform weekly ash sampling and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and communicate operational issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Niagara Falls, NY
• Prior experience in industrial, utility, or heavy equipment operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including a full-faced respirator.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in hot, cold, or dusty environments.
