What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive statewide ERP communications strategy.
• Design and execute strategic communication plans across all channels.
• Create diverse written materials including blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and website content.
• Review technical communication documents and training curriculum for accuracy and style.
• Manage website content and functionality improvements.
• Implement internal social media strategies to highlight ERP milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in communications strategy development, preferably in a technology setting.
• Must be able to work on-site in Springfield, IL, Monday through Thursday.
• Proven experience in business strategy, IT governance, and change management.
• Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience with ERP systems or technical writing.
