What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Manage database infrastructure across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement database security best practices, including encryption and access control.
• Support system migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or higher) required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 4–8+ years of professional database administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with major database platforms like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience managing AWS cloud environments (RDS, EC2, Aurora).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation.
• Experience supporting federal or defense sector projects.
• Familiarity with data migration and ETL processes.
