What you will do

• Lead the design and execution of evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for AI/ML systems (text, vision, generative AI).
• Architect and develop scalable AI services and reusable platforms to support multiple product teams.
• Build GenAI-driven systems, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Drive best practices in experimentation, versioning, and reproducibility across applied AI systems.
• Partner with product managers to define success criteria and assess technical feasibility of AI features.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into broader product architectures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Applied AI, Machine Learning Engineering, or AI Systems Engineering.
• Must be based in the Singapore office.
• Strong programming skills in Python and software engineering fundamentals (API design, modular codebases).
• Experience building backend services for AI systems using FastAPI, NodeJS, or similar.
• Proven ability to deploy AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
