What you will do

• Advise and assist customers in designing, building, and operating applications using ING APIs.
• Organize and conduct technical workshops and deep-dive sessions for seamless API integration.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design API endpoints and responses based on OpenAPI specifications.
• Prototype integrations in customer environments using modern tooling and sandbox environments.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, guides, and blog posts for the developer community.
• Act as the voice-of-the-customer to provide feedback for platform and API improvements.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as a technical field engineer in a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or NodeJS.
• Strong understanding of API technology, OAuth, PKI, certificates, and TLS.
• Experience in technical writing and creating accessible documentation for complex topics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of API runtime environments such as Linux servers.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
