What you will do

• Handle post-award contract administration, including payment applications, invoices, contract entitlement, and documented correspondence.
• Provide commercial/contract deliverables (e.g., bonds, PCGs, evidence of insurance) and support reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain project commercial plans, including commercial strategy, subcontracting commercial strategy, and profit improvement plans.
• Perform regular cost analysis to maximize recoverable costs, minimize disallowable costs, and ensure appropriate accruals and provisions.
• Prepare project cashflow forecasts and support expenditure/invoice preparation and payment expediting per client contract requirements.
• Contribute to internal project reviews and develop robust project forecasts with the project team.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a QS or Senior QS role, preferably within transmission and distribution overhead lines (not essential).
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Proven contract administration experience, including change management.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies plus an appropriate professional qualification (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate with others via MS Teams and travel to sites across Scotland.
