What you will do
- Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to develop Quality Plans, Control Plans, and FMEAs to support yield and process capability.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing product quality and manage supplier quality activities.
- Lead customer complaint investigations and facilitate cross-functional 8D problem-solving teams.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and report on Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) metrics to leadership.
- Coordinate external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
- Understanding of 8D problem-solving methodologies and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and promote a proactive quality culture.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Chippenham, UK site.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as Lead Auditor, CQI, or Six Sigma.
- Experience within the semiconductor industry (photolithography, etch, deposition, CMP).
