Salary: $8,305.08 - $12,952.33 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day operations of classroom AV technology support across academic campuses, clinical sites, and health authority partners.
  • Develop and optimize AV support models, staffing coverage, and escalation pathways based on site needs and service demand.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation lead for complex AV operational issues to ensure minimal disruption to scheduled teaching.
  • Manage, mentor, and recruit staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide operational input on AV project planning, training needs, and asset management.
  • Oversee vendor contract negotiations and serve as a Project Manager for AV-related hardware and software enhancements.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in AV/IT operations.
  • Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and repairing AV equipment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

  • University degree in Computer Science.
  • Formal training or certifications in AV service management (e.g., Cisco, Crestron).
  • Formal training in Project Management and Business Analysis.
  • Prior managerial experience.
