What you will do

• Design and develop personalized shopping algorithms leveraging cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
• Deploy ML solutions into production, taking full ownership of performance and scalability.
• Identify and optimize retrieval and reranking systems, replacing heavy business logic with data-driven approaches.
• Communicate complex machine learning concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate within the team to establish standards and best practices for deploying ML models.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for analytical or transactional databases.
• Theoretical understanding and hands-on experience building and iterating on ML models.
• Experience with data structures and tools for large datasets (e.g., pandas, numpy, dask, arrow, polars).
• Proven experience designing, building, and managing data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based model training and serving platforms (e.g., GCP Vertex AI, Amazon SageMaker).
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery, time series, and graph neural network models.
• Knowledge of Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLFlow, Kubeflow) and Docker.
• Ability to build interactive dashboards using Streamlit, Voila, or Gradio.
• Familiarity with GCP/AWS infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
